What happened?
Leading 23–17 with 2:22 left, the Saints appeared to stop Detroit on fourth-and-five until Rafael Bush was flagged for interference against Reggie Bush. The disputed call gave the Lions fresh downs, leading to the winning touchdown in a 24–23 loss. Earlier in the fourth quarter, Nick Fairley pulled down the intended Saints screen receiver without a holding flag; even a Lions-site film breakdown concluded that foul should have been called. Two late grievances, with the interference call remaining a subjective judgment rather than an admitted NFL error.
